Overview ~

Mussoorie is a hill station in the Dehradun district of the Indian state Uttarakhand. It is about 35 kilometres (22 mi) from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km (180 mi) north of the national capital of New Delhi. The hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range. The adjoining town of Landour, which includes a military cantonment, is considered part of “greater Mussoorie”, as are the townships Barlowganj and Jharipani.

Mussoorie is at an average altitude of 2,005 metres (6,578 ft). To the northeast are the Himalayan snow ranges, and to the south, the Doon Valley and Shiwalik ranges. The second highest point is the original Lal Tibba in Landour, with a height of over 2,275 m (7,464 ft). Mussoorie is popularly known as The Queen of the Hills.

Itinerary ~

                           Day 1

At morning the team Spicysumit will serve a breakfast to the group. After having breakfast journey will start from Rishikesh vie the capital city Dehradun, reaching Dehradun journey will proceed towards Mussoorie; The Queen Of Hills. While travelling on the way, you will definitely like the experience of slowly slowly rising in height and of beautiful mountain views.

While reaching Mussoorie First Day tours are as follows :

After exploring the sights of the first day, we will proceed to the hotels for night rest. After dinner, it is up to you whether you want to rest or spend some time having a night tour of city. For this condition Guide will be not available its totally depends upon you.

                           Day 2

The mornings in the valleys are quite peaceful . In second day of our tour we will  explore famous hills and falls of Mussoorie. The Guide of our team will give you a briefing in which he will tell you all the information regarding second day. After Break fast we wil left for the journey.

This will be the last day of this tour in which we will explore the nearest valley where the mythological temple and dense forest will make you feel very relaxed. After having break fast we will left for the destination.
